CII Recognizes NITRA as one of the Top 5 Innovative Institutes in India.
The Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), the biggest industry association in India, recognized the Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) on December 13, 2024, as one of the Top 5 Innovative Institutes in India for the year 2024.
NITRA has done and is continually conducting a lot of R&D and innovation in the fields of technical textiles, unconventional natural fibres, and sustainability.
Almost all its developments and innovations have been commercialized, and the benefits are passed on to the textile and apparel industry.
Innovations are imbibed in NITRA's culture. CII recognized NITRA as one of the topmost Innovative Institutes in 2022 and 2023.
