Bharat Tex 2025, new hopes, new horizons!
India's premier textile sourcing Textile festival this is how fondly the GoI describes it. Building on last year's success, the expo aims to attract a staggering number of 4,000 buyers from India and globally, up from the 3,000 it clocked in its maiden show of 2024, and cement India's leadership position in the universe of textiles positioning it as a well-deserved a global textile hub.
Keep going
A reasonable degree of readiness and preparations are in full swing following a recent Steering Committee meeting to kickstart event 2 which will be a coming together/unification of the entire fiber-fashion value chain unlocking the untapped potential of India's vibrant textile sector per se.
Bharat M Chhajer, Past Chairman of PDEXCIL, shares insights on the expo's promising & impressive growth, driven by rising unmet demand for sustainable materials instilling the culture of compliance.
Glad to state that, after a successful inaugural edition inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Bharat Tex 2025 promises to be a game-changer and force multiplier for the entire textile value-chain as in value accretion and resultantly the sector has only become stronger.
Jointly remarkably organized by 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and supported by the Ministry of Textiles, the expo will demonstrably showcase India's textile excellence, century-old legacy, and rich heritage, focusing on trade, commerce & investment, and sustainability.
